Where is that attached sample?
A value of 120 ohms is what you'd expect for a CAN bus termination resistor... what you're describing is a bit odd. So, what was the problem? The battery connector that the CAN line passes through? The wiring before the connector?

The system could probably be modified to run both the air conditioning and the heating simultaneously, BUT... at least on the D1, both the cooling and heating draw power from the same fuse (and supply line), turning both on at once would overload and blow it. Another issue is the component sequence ...
