CAN Diagram?
CAN Diagram?
Fixed my first suspected CAN fault by chopping back 12 inches of multi pr. cable from HV battery and soldering on a new segment of wires and terminating plug. The CAN pr (yellow / green) measured 120ohms across the old terminal, and 60 ohms when cut back and remeasured. I really need a block diagram for D2S. Any suggestions?
Re: CAN Diagram?
Where is that attached sample?
A value of 120 ohms is what you'd expect for a CAN bus termination resistor... what you're describing is a bit odd. So, what was the problem? The battery connector that the CAN line passes through? The wiring before the connector?
Re: CAN Diagram?
UPDATE:
For clarity Andytech3 60ohms is the expected measured value across the network according to any CAN documentation. If you measure 120ohms this will point to a broken CAN segment usually an open path or bad resistor. cutting back 12 inches and soldering the terminal did the trick.
Im really after a basic electrical diagram that can be used to trace the 9 wire cable group from the HV battery Aircraft bulkhead terminal.
there are 2 twisted pr. included in that bunch. one measures 60ohms (active CAN pr) the other twisted pr measure OL (not sure if they are backup)
Any help a circuit diagram for the 9 wire group will be appreciated as the manual schematic page is over compressed and distorted making it unreadable
