CAN ID CODES
CAN ID CODES
Has anyone got a list of CAN ID Codes that match each function of the network devices that communicate over the BUS. the codes are in HEX and need to be matched to the functions they represent, ie 0F43 is the foot break activity between the break pedal sensor through CAN BUS to the BCM (I just made that up)
Re: CAN ID CODES
Hi MacTrott,
Unfortunately, I only have the PDF documentation for the Zhidou D1. I don't have any official documentation for the D2/D2S CAN bus.
Some CAN messages and data formats are likely similar, as the D2/D2S evolved from the D1 platform, but I would expect a number of differences because the D2/D2S has a more advanced electrical and control system.
If you're specifically working on a D2/D2S, the D1 documentation may still be useful as a starting point for identifying common message IDs and data structures, but I wouldn't assume the IDs or payloads are identical without capturing and comparing the CAN traffic.

Re: CAN ID CODES
thanks for responding. I will try to put togather a DBC file from scratch and share.....this is new for me but hope to have something meaningful to share in a few weeks! would you mind sharing your D1 document with me to use as a reference? I think the fleet may even have a few D1s in service and will be around for awhile
