Hi there,

There are two options for unlocking ex-Sharengo (rental car):

1. BMS re-flashing using EV-05 software

2. Replacement GPRS unit that will send the enable command automatically.

BMS re-flashing could be costly as the EV-05 program cost is relatively high, and you need to use a special USB-CAN transceiver. Also, EV-05 requires some Windows modifications to allow Chinese symbols to be correctly interpreted.

The second option, to buy a replacement unit, is cheaper, as you only need to unplug the old GPRS unit and plug the replacement unit into the OBD socket. Then, the car will go into ready mode after the key is turned on.

Of course, if there is any failure, the car will not start and will display a red battery icon with an exclamation mark.

It is recommended to change door locks and permanent key that is used to start the car as it is universal for all rental models.
After any of modification mentioned above you could disconnect original tablet radio and replace it with some other.
It should be 7inch 2din radio or any other that you can fit there.
