If your car stops charging even though the charger is tested and working fine...

It could be an issue with the communication cable going to the battery pack.
If the CP (Control Pilot) pin is corroded or has a bad contact, the car may:

• Fail to start charging, or
• Not detect that the charging cable is inserted at all.

Important warning:
In some cases, you might still be able to turn on and drive the car (it gets “ready”) even while the charging cable is still plugged in!
Always double-check before driving off.

Battery warning:
If you see a red battery icon with an exclamation mark when starting the car, it may not start charging.
This can happen if the BMS (Battery Management System) has a fault that could prevent charging. It depends on what fault it is.

Note:
If the charger itself is in fault, it can often be repaired by replacing faulty components inside the charger.
